Physical Appearance: Handsome, 6' tall, looks basically like any wealthy Southern California youth. Logan's hair is light brown, cut short and spiked (perhaps even dyed with highlights), and his dress is casual but tasteful. His clothes are any combination of t-shirts, slacks, sandals, fitted polo shirts, and sporty fashion jackets. No matter what day it is, Logan always wears one of his several puka shell necklaces.

History: Logan has a long and strange history for someone so young. It mostly has to do with the city he’s lived in until now: Neptune, CA. It’s like San Diego, but perverse and corrupt. And rich. Logan’s two parents are both successful actors who met on set, but it wasn’t a healthy upbringing. Dad would sleep with other women while Mom took her prescription drugs and tried to pretend like it wasn’t happening. Logan’s dad himself had a bad history, so this is the reason why he first started beating Logan. Eventually, he just became used to it. In fact, as he grew older, Logan picked out the belts that he’d bring to his dad, and that’s the one daddy Echolls would whip his son with.

Logan has become involved with a lot of girls, but none have ever affected him like his first real girlfriend, Lilly Kane, daughter of super-successful software company owner, Jake Kane. In fact, you're probably using Kane software and technology right now. Before Veronica, Logan was all about hooking up, and having fun. But in the summer after sophomore year, Logan's life was jarred by the murder of his girlfriend, Lilly. It changed him. Nothing affected Logan like Lilly's death. Mom jumped from a bridge, and dad was incarcerated, and then assassinated. Logan and Veronica were once friends, back when Lilly was still alive. After the trial convicting Lilly's supposed killer, Veronica and Logan detested each other. They are an on-again, off-again couple, but even he can’t deny that he is so completely in love with her. Logan's got nothing left but Veronica.

Personality: Logan Echolls is the spoiled only son of two movie superstars. He has a stepsister by his father, but they were never really close. Logan has learned that he has to guard himself emotionally, and he does this by being bitingly snarky and bitter to people to keep them a certain distance from him, emotionally. Almost everything he says in public is sarcastic; it's basically a second nature to him. Those that hang out with him he seems to treat the best, but they don’t have Logan’s love or respect. He will treat them like brothers (or partners in crime). The others he distances himself from by acting like a general jackass.

He also has another side. When Logan does open up, he does so so fully that one wonders if it is purposeful or not. Sometimes he falls headfirst into a relationship, sometimes he’s very cold and distant. The times he has opened up, it was to people he knew he cared for, and cared for very deeply. These are probably the only people that will hear Logan's deep, honest thoughts.

Logan is prone to outbursts when he is angry, and is likely to make stupid decisions or resort to physical fighting. Even despite all of this, Logan is quite intelligent and can hold his own. Logan isn't particularly lazy, but he's used to things being done for him. He's never worked a day in his life. He's more often found playing the latest release on XBox or PlayStation 2 than (God forbid) doing his laundry, or even making his own meal.

Personality in seven words or less: Smug, snarky, confident, intelligent, violent, impulsive, devoted.

How Others Perceive Your Character: Typical 09er. Rich, young, and reckless. Frequently hosts parties and hangs out with the 'in' crowd. At times he is known to stick up for people, including non-09ers.

Reason for Escaping to Canada: To follow Veronica. End of story.
